Hello, is it tea you're looking for??
Haha Cracks me up. Every time. Sorry.
Anyway, hello again.
So, I've had a rough couple of days. I'm not gonna lie.
It's hard for me to be here everyday. Mostly because of my son. Who's the Tasmanian devil, always running around the house breaking things. He's been giving me a break (a very tiny one) because he's got a badly twisted ankle. Yet he's still jumping around.
But in other news, I was browsing Wikipedia and I got to read to my surprize, some Very Racist articles. Now, I do understand to a certain extent that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I think we could all agree that shouldn't apply to historical information. One of the articles I read was about a war, so I was pretty much baffled by the way it was expressed. I do understand that Wikipedia is edited by the people for the people, though someone there is taking sides and hating.
If you ask me, excluding someone because of their nationality/language/skin color, etc. is just pure ignorance. Yes. Racism is Ignorance in its purest form. Take for instance the Irish. When the Mexican-American war was happening in the 1840s, the Irish wanted to fight. So, they asked the US if they could join them. The USA gave them a funny look (and by funny I mean disgusted) probably because they couldn't make out what they were saying. So the Irish cursed at them and joined the Mexicans. After all, hey! They were dressed in green! Lol. No, I'm joking. But they did join them. And that Irish accent, sexy as hell but hard to understand for most people.
I'm drifting, sorry.
My point is: I would love to set a rule and say that you can't diminish or disrespect people based on how they look or what language they speak. That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard! Unfortunately people are people and we can't always change their minds, although I would love to try.

Dating app - Part deux
Hello again,
I didn't actually think it would work. I was actually sorta "challenging" life or destiny or whatever else to prove me wrong and find someone to fulfill my expectations in this app. Needless to say, I deleted it. Life 0 - Danny 1000000000000000
And I'm not saying dating apps don't work. And I do have to admit that I Am picky (and that my list is long). I'm just don't think online dating actually cuts it for me.
I think I'm just too old fashioned to believe that it could work.
I'm a different kinda gal. I still believe you could meet that special someone in person by life's peculiar randomness, like when you visit the supermarket or library, etc. You catch my drift. I don't think there's anything more special than having that Really Awkward first encounter. Again, that's just my personal opinion. You don't necessarily have to agree. Any thoughts?

Dating app...dun, dun, duuuuun!!!
Hello again, I've been away for a while. I still don't know why but April was a really hard month.
Anyway, getting bored with my non-existent social life, I decided to create a profile on a dating app. I knew I would get the attention of locals right away. That tends to happen on any social media I get on. I haven't had any good experiences with local men, ever. So I thought: No, no locals this time. I also thought thoroughly which men I would filter. I Am picky by nature but I went a little further. No fatties, no uglies, no one wearing sunglasses or caps, no shortys, etc, etc. (It's a long list) and no one whose profile photo didn't show their face.
Since I've been single for quite a while, I figured why waste mine or someone else's time. I must've filtered around 40 or 50 men who didn't meet my needs. Still, let me tell you, it's Wild out there! And the world is BIG! Later on, I realized I am actually looking for a specific individual, a friend whom I lost touch with in cyberspace a long time ago.
Well that's that. He is very cute and may I dare say had every single quality I was looking for in a regular prince charming. Guess that's life, we'll see what happens. In the meantime I'll keep looking.
